How do I get promotion for my record? And what is the best promotion for my music?
Here’s a music publicity question, care of Yahoo Answers (and WordPress Direct software):
Myspace, iTunes, playing live, and just word of mouth. Let your music speak for itself. I live in LA where there’s album posters everywhere, and people at the grocery store trying to sell you their CD. I’m more likely to buy a CD if it’s a band that I liked after seeing a show (even if I was there to see another band), or if a friend told me to check out some tracks.
