Music Publicity and The Maximum Edge
While creating this music publicity blog during the Thirty Day Challenge, I learned that Ed Dale & Co’s internet marketing strategy is a specific testing process called “Maximum Edge”.
In an ideal Thirty Day Challenge world you’d want to create the following content for each of your chosen keywords:
- YourPhrase.com Domain
- YourPhrase Blog
- YourPhrase Articles
- YourPhrase Web 2.0 sites (Squidoo, Weebly, etc)
In addition, each of the above websites also need to link to your main YourPhrase Blog (which will boost its ranking), and each new piece of content that you create needs to be socially bookmarked. This is called “building out”.
And you ask again, what the heck does this have to do with music publicity?
My simplified theory is musicians and artisans can choose to optimize their music website for multiple keyword phrases, and increase their music publicity.
Stay tuned to musicpublicityblog.com, and we’ll see how my theory works in reality!
